Clinton Says His Wife Would Make a Better President

JERUSALEM (AP) - Former President Clinton said in an interview Friday that he believes his wife would do a better job than he did in the nation's highest office.

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has not said whether she plans to run in 2008. Nonetheless, her husband told Israel's Channel Two television that her experience as first lady would help make her a strong president.

"In some ways she would be (better) because of what we did together," he said from New York. "First, she has the Senate experience I didn't have. Second, she would have had the eight years in the White House."

"I think she wouldn't make as many mistakes because, you know, we're older and more mature, and she is far more experienced now in all the relevant ways than I was when I took office," he added. "So I think in a way she has the best of both worlds."

Bill Clinton was interviewed on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. He is expected in Israel later this week for the Rabin memorials.

Hillary Clinton, who is running for re-election to the Senate next year, has refused to rule out a run for the next presidency, saying she is concentrating on her current office. Polls indicate that if she runs for president, she would be the favorite for the Democratic nomination.

Our President is going down the tube because of the msm. We have to help him.

The problem is -- we can't. Just like weeks of the Miers fiasco, GW has one of the worst PR teams in recent history. That is his fault. Until he changes that and gets and effective PR team in place, he will never get much favorable coverage.

Scott McClellan may be the nicest guy in history, but he is one of the worst Press Secretaries any recent administration could have.

So would MY wife.

Or my ex-wife, for that matter...

Okay, we don't have to bother to vote. Just crown the two of them Emperor and Empress of the Universe. Meanwhile CNN is having tons of fun covering Argentina whacko protests against the evildoer, Bush.

"...Given that, for all intents and purposes, from 1993 to 2001 she WAS President I think we know the job she'd do...."

Didn't Bubba say once that they were a two-for-one package? If so, the beast couldn't run for the POTUS. It's already had eight years in the WH. The Constitution states that no one can hold the office of POTUS more than 10 years. Her eight years would make her ineligible. Rest easy folks, she can't run based on the above reasoning.

Better go check out "American Evita" at your local library - it outlines the 2-part plan of the Clintons and the 2nd part hasn't been implemented (and hopefully won't be)!

You have a point about the WH doing a better PR job, but you have to admit that the MSM are like sharks out for blood when it concerns this administration, especially since President Bush was re-elected. They wanted their guy in there.

All joking aside, Hitlery poses a serious threat, every WORD is planned out for the media who drool over her.
She jumps/latches onto bills authored by Republicans, just to appear "moderate", and many other disgusting tricks intended to fool the people.
I HIGHLY recommend Dick Morris' book CONDI VS. HILLARY, depsite what anti-Morris folk say, there is so much truth, plus side benefits of Condi's astonishing talents and accomplishments.
It pays us all to consider Morris thoughts and conclusions about Condi!!!!!
Aside:
George Washington didn't "run" for president, he took the duty that Americans wanted him to lead.
Nor did Eisenhower want the job, only after much public persuasion did he accept.
After all, "running" is shaking hands, kissing babies.
Most of Condi's "jobs" have been asked of her, not that she strove for any of the appointments.
A true American would answer the call of duty!
And what better candidate with no personal motivation, but one that is requested by public calling.?

High praise from the second worst President in my lifetime (Carter #1)
