Honky
But you cannot say niggardly - which has nothing to do with race.
I must need more coffee when I find myself agreeing with that phlegmatic old tool.
Please remove this post.
I left Andy Rooney out of the headline.
Sorry
Did they let Andy Roony out of the rest home again?
The term African-American is ridiculous unless it is applied to an African who recently became an America. I demand to be called an English-American. Or maybe European-American since Africa is NOT a country. Why don't they just want to be Americans?
Well even a blind pig can find an ear of corn from time to time.
I find it silly that we have to tiptoe around people so we don't offend them. I don't care what anyone calls me regarding my race. They can call me white (altho I'm more pinkish) or caucasion, or honkey or gringo, or whatever. It's gotten hard to keep up with what to call folks.
susie
So is "Homosexual".
Who cares what that moron says or thinks about anything?
I had no idea Andy Rooney was still alive, technically.
I wonder if he will get the Bill Bennett treatment.
What if Trent Lott had said this exact same thing?
In this rare instance, Andy Rooney is right.
Okay...
And Sheets Byrd can use the term "white n*gger".
And Dems in Maryland can belittle Michael Steele, a Senatorial candidate (who happens to be black); also pelting him with Oreo cookies in 2002.
And Wolf Blitzer can say "they are so poor" and "so black" about Katrina recipients.
And the Houston Astros have no black players on their roster (I guess you can have skin as black as coal but if you're from the Western Hemisphere, then you aren't "black").
And the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says that Clarence Thomas's status as "black" deserves an asterisk.
Wow, I am really having a hard time keeping up with liberalism, Dems, and Political Correctness. They are truly revolting and disgusting people.
Say what you want about the convoluted term 'African-American', but at least it's got 'American' in there. That's better than what the race-minded liberals would have us use.
Very best of all is being able to speak comfortably without denoting someone's race at all. Instead of directing someone to find Kyle in a crowd of people by saying 'Kyle is the black guy over there', why not use 'Kyle is wearing the purple shirt'?
What's so hard about this?
I had no idea this idiot was still alive....
I guess that makes him a bitter old honky then.
I wonder where he keeps his sheets...
