There is a simple reason, the Justices are expected to legislate from the bench.
Law is Law. It comes from the supreme creator, not a bunch of hacks sitting in Congress or sitting on the bench.
It is true. And it is pure. And it does not depend on Democrats, or Republicans, or donations, or political action committees.
We can no better change the law as we could turn the clock back. Or be born in a different body. Or change it by "voting".
