Statutes are not laws. They are regulations.

It was against the law to murder someone, even before the Ten Commandments.

And to believe in the "law", and the "Law to the letter", is exactly what the defendents tried to do at the Nuremburg trials.

Since you can't define "law," I went and looked it up for you. A definition that comes close to letting your argument make any sense at all is tenth on the list. If you want to claim laws haven't changed in 1200 years based on some twisted definition of the word, knock yourself out. But using the normally accepted definitions of the word, it is easily refuted and completely unpersuasive.

Nuremburg (sic). Les Miserables. Right. Good arguments.
