They have not asked for an Islamic police as yet but the next best thing.
They are demanding that the Imans and Clerics take charge of the security.....Which seems to have the approval of de Villepin.
I wonder if French people are having second thoughts about supporting the Palestinian Intifada now they have one of their own.
I suggested to a colleaugue of mine ( a lefty) that Ariel Sharon should offer to support the Muslim Intifada in France .
Would be such a kind gesture of Israel to financially support it, after all, France and the rest of Europe were generous to Arafat.
Will therefore put an end to the belief that Israel is anti-muslims......
My colleague was lost for words.lol
What's French for 'Infitada'?
The analogy that comes to my mind is opening my back door, and letting the racoons into the kitchen, at the height of the Rabies epidemic.
What were they thinking?
"They are demanding that the Imans and Clerics take charge of the security.....Which seems to have the approval of de Villepin."
Islam then controls FRANCE!
I heard on tv yesterday that Switzerland has either cut down on muslim immigrations or banned it.
You are correct, Islam is in control of France.
Over the last 40 years every French governmemt has been corrupted by Islamic dictators.
French governments have always supported the likes of Arafat, Khomeni, Saddam to name but a few.
French ministers always verbally attacked Israel in the hope they would be spare an Islamic war.
I was told ( by a friend who works for a big french company) that each time France makes bussiness with an Arab country there is an UNWRITTEN clause attached...
" We shall spend billions of $ with you, but , in return you must attack Israel at ever opportunity"....
France has sold his soul to Arabs, they are now paying the price.Arabs are not to be trusted, I was told, I think France is learningthe lesson a bit too late.

France is not alone: Muslims in Århus, Denmark have also been rioting this week. And in France, Sarkozy recently revealed that this weeks riots are just a particularly virulent flare-up of an ongoing pattern of violence: he told Le Monde that twenty to forty cars are set afire nightly in Paris restive Muslim suburbs, and no fewer than nine thousand police cars have been stoned since the beginning of 2005.
France and Europe may need to be rescued from the Muslims (within) in the future. Who will do it?
Which is worse, stupid AP writers trapped in a liberal mindset or immigrants who expect, no demand a handout from the host country?
Gotta read pretty far down in the AP article before the word "Muslim" appears in print.
Guess there aren't any jobs for Muslims at Radio Shaque, Sept-Onze, or Super Huit.
I am reading the french newspapers and listening to french radio....
one link i can give you is www.unionrepublicainepopulaire.org
it is quite a good site, they tend to have a more objective view.it is in french.
one other is www.france-echos.com ( not too reliable, but they do links to news items and have an english translation which is not too good, but you may find some items of interests.
thanks.
Well, the guy from Newsweek who appeared on FNC a little while ago to discuss the rioting never used it at all. Go figure.
London thought suicide bombings weren't coming, too. With travel so easy in the EU, how long before an al Qaeda operative arrives with plans to blow up something Parisians care about? Obviously, French authorities are worried about this and a great deal more, as well they should be. Events are moving apace...
It will not last long here in the South!
LLS
Undoubtedly, Parisians would blame President Bush for inflaming the Muslim 'street'.
That old saying of feeding the tiger in hopes that he eats you last...France just had her fingers nipped.
