Yup, and it will be interesting how France will handle this social upheaval. Can't figure out why the Euro is so strong. Not only are the two largest economies in pretty poor condition now both are in either political or social upheaval. Got to go now.

Give it time. IMO the EU will collapse upon itself.
In close examination of Sam Huntington's "Clash" thesis, the tribal instinct and its cohesiveness trumps collectivism, in spades.
In due course, Europe will incrementally become Islamic -- and without question, we will see a great deal of follow-on accomodist (appeasement) rationale introduced into European policy, at all levels.
The poor post-WW-11 national leadership -- for a number of reasons --brought this upon themselves; and the cork is well out of the bottle -- never to be replaced until the civilizational shift has gone full circle.
