Youts?

I call 'em anarchists.

The media can call them whatever they want. But we all know what they are.

Rrrrribbit!!

LOL! I was waiting for someone to come up with a funny caption for that pic of Chirac. He looks more ridiculous with each passing day.

I love it. The white flag of surrender sprouts from Chirac's hand. ROFLMAO!

Your 113 -- ouch. If the French police won't use those weapons, pretty soon Paris, itself, will be burning.

I have a feeling that Le Pen would do quite well in a French election these days...

I really don't think he'd tolerate this nonsense.

There is the slight problem that he hates the US, but since we're already on such rosy terms with the French...

Burned cars in Baghdad today = 1

Burned cars in Paris today = 80

We've won the War On Terror.

Le Pen is 1. Not very bright. 2. A holocaust denier and 3. Will get, at most, 25% of the vote. There are other people in Chirac's own party that would do a better job on this issue.

French firemen confront a blazing warehouse fire near Le Bourget during an eighth night of unrest in the suburbs, northeast of Paris, November 4, 2005. Some 1,300 riot police acted as a deterrent and at least 150 vehicles were destroyed overnight, according to official figures.

Maybe the French could give up "land for peace". Paris, perhaps.

To start with.

Well, sure. He hates America, too. But how bad does Chirac have to stink before he's cast out with the fish?

If Le Pen ran right now, he'd be in the final election, hands down. Probably he and Chirac or perhaps someone else. But if it's Chirac again and this rioting continues to spread with no abatement, I wouldn't put it beyond the people to demand an iron fist....

I think you're right, but with the way things are going now and the way the French government is responding, well, there's much to be desired.

The French just might do that. After all, they've given up Paris before, just over 60 years ago.
