I am frustrated. I was just listening to the floor debate on legislation to remedy the Kelo vs. New London debacle. Bonilla of Texas said that in one committee (agriculture?), only one person voted against the proposed cure to this awful Supreme Court decision. How do I find out who that one person was? The House website is hard to navigate, and just doesn't want to tell you who voted how. I had no better luck with Thomas. Should this information be so hard to acquire? Thanks in advance for any help you might offer!
That is useful, and more than I had been able to find, but how do I get COMMITTEE vote tallies?
It may be under the Issues column on the page link I posted and then select Committees..
Call the legislative clerk's office and ask. That will prove to be the fastest way.
