People on FR are supporting that theory?? Did anyone remind them that the British bombers were from upper middle class families.
Someone on another thread put forward the notion that the rioters are not Islamic militants, but simply unemployed and underemployed kids raising a ruckus for heck of it.
It's a simple question of formal property ownership. In the West, property registration is well organized. In third world countries the poor also own quite a bit, they are not generally poor, but property registration is nearly non-existent, so they can't use their property as bank collateral.
