Frist keeps on grabbing his ankles. The Republicans look like jelly spined linguini while the Democrats look like a bunch of nuts let loose from Nurse Ratched's ward.

But wait, didn't nancy say

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998."

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face." Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998.

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998.

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998.

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999.

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies." Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL,) and others, Dec, 5, 2001.

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandated of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." Sen. Carl Levin (d, MI), Sept. 19, 2002.

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002.

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction." Sen. Jay Rockerfeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002.

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do." Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002.

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002.

"[W]ithout question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ..." Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003.

HAR!!

The rats simply cannot believe that after wasting two years and millions of tax dollars, Fitzgerald got nothing, NOTHING except for some sloppy aide who (apparently) tripped himself up while testifying about a crime that was never committed in the first place.

The rats are foaming at the mouth, and it is a joy to watch!

Democrats intensify Bush slams

Well, by gosh by golly, it's worked great so far!

/sarc

Next thing they'll start up another search for the liberal counterpart for Rush. They're already committed to redebating the merits of the Iraq War for the umpteenth time. Perhaps they'll try to resurrect the National Guard bit again. It sure won't be anything new.

Looney is right... Anyway what the focus should start being is how many lives have we saved in the U.S. since we are fighting terror over there.... Where are all the talking heads that predicted many more attacks on the Homeland right after 9/11... Well 4 years have gone by and not a single attack on U.S. soil... Something must be working...

Here it is first hand. The Democrats voted for World War 3.
Didn't know that it was a World War.
Didn't know that people would be killed.
Didn't know that it would cost a lot of money.
Didn't know that this war would last a long, long time. I don't know why they didn't know because I sure thought it
would. And I doubt that I will see the end on the War on
Terror in my life time and I still believe I have 20 yrs.
left.
Thinking that being safe or safer would come from declaring war on the Terrorist of the Islamic Army is a fool's wish unless all and I mean all ways and means of killing you is taken away from them, you either have to kill them, or separate them some way as to not be able to have any contact with you or your love ones will be the only small safe way and destroy their basic ideology belief that it is OK to kill you if you do not agree with them. There is not reasoning with them. Haven't you seen that?
Liberal fools, take a good look around the world including the U.S. and see what the Muslims are doing and who they are killing. The Muslims are killing Christians, imprisoning them, destroying their churches, attacking Christians and their beliefs every day though out the world and there is not one out cry from you. Where is your bleeding hearts here? Or, do you believe that it is just the Christians and Jews that the Muslims want to destroy?
Wake up liberal fools, if the Christians and Jews fail, guess who's next?
These Muslims and Communists are already in the Congress and Senate and are the major lobbyist in Washington and you still think that the WAR in Only in the Middle East.
I say WAKE UP Liberal Fools and take a GOOD look around. I say the WAR is ALSO here in the U.S. right in front of you and you can not see it because you are blind to the real WORLD and FACTS!

There's always a lot of talk about "changing the subject" in Washington.
This is a bit misleading, I think, especially in today's world of internet bloggers, talk radio, and 24 hour news.

We actually have 2 separate conversations taking place at the same time, and neither side pays much attention to the other side's discussion. What is happening right now, is the Democrats are flapping their arms and jumping up and down about Iraq or whatever they are on about simply to keep their side preoccupied.

It is no longer about controlling the national debate. They are simply working overtime to keep their base preoccupied with Bush-hate red meat as Bush wins easy confirmation for yet another Supreme Court nominee.

The important thing is we do not allow the Democrats to postpone the confirmation of Alito.

Several others, such as author David Wallechinsky, raised the prospect of impeachment, asking, "Is a Nixon moment on the horizon?"

They truly are in a parallel universe.

All these quotes by these loonies need to be emailed to their offices enmasse. And to the news outlets. Fox has used a few of them. It is one reason that they don't like the report because they were supposed to judge different rationals for going to war w/o knowing who said it. I'm sure the Dims were afraid that they'd pick quotes which sounded like they were war-mongering and then they'd turn out to be spoken by Dims.

an aggressive political strategy that has energized the party's anti-war activist base.

The same way that they were energized this summer behind Cindy Sheehan?...or last year behind John Kerry? If so, then we've nothing to worry about.

Why don't these loons bring up Berger? Why didn't we even know about Berger's theft for almost a year. Why did the archivist call Bubba's attorney rather than the FBI first?

And WHY, did Berger and Wilson get fired from the Kerry campaign within a week of each other. Berger's FIRST heist was after Joe joined Kerry's campaign but BEFORE Joe wrote his article.

It begs the question: Why does Bill Frist continue to yield to these wackos?? If you reward a child who has a temper tantrum, they learn that they will always get their way by having additional tantrums. Frist nees to stiffen his spine and start playing the Adult!

I think this is going to backfire on the Dems. This morning I was flipping through the channels and a CNBC stock exchange floor reporter was talking about the dollar rising and one reason he gave was "Europe is Burning" or something similar. I had to laugh.

The Democrats backdrop to Bush Lied! is Europe is Burning!

I think the long term plan of the Dems is to recreate their success back in the Nixon administration in Bush's Second term.

They would desperately like to impeach him or force him to resign. There is no limit to their villanies - they re traitors.

Keep slamming the administration, liberals. You have no vision for America, so you will lose big again in '06. You will then discuss how you will change after getting slaughtered in the elections, then return to your angry, hate-filled speech about 2 days later.

These people are losers.
