If Al Franken decides to pursue a career in politics...........

I prefer to remember Al Franken as the whiney nasal-voiced she-man from Saturday Nite Live of the past.

Watching his unraveling would be great entertainment.

We've already got Dean the Scream for that.

There was an Franken and Davis skit on SNL where Franken ran for Congress as Vince Tagliani. He runs a smear camoaign but loses anyway. So he assassinates the incumbent on t.v..

Our Pal Al was just here in Portland, OR the other night, spouting off his moon-battery to an adoring crowd, and being interviewed breathlessly by the local TV news babes. I think he was trying to raise mor cash for Err Amerika...

If we plotted Al Franken on the Looney-Toon Bellcurve, who would be on the opposite side from him?

I'm thinking Ross Perot....maybe Pat Buchanan....

If Al Franken's bullet riddled corpse were left to rot in the woods, would anyone look for it?

I think the real question is "If Al Frankan's dead body was left in the woods, would any animal touch it?"AWB

Thank you.

I hope the shameless advertising I do isn't rude. I love to show people various toons and see what they think. Trying to get readership up.

IMO, it's not shameless advertising if it relates to the discussion.

Yeah, I posted an Al Gore cartoon in an Al Gore thread earlier.

Readership and responses are growing with each new toon I post. And with each one, new people want to be added to the ping list. I got 315 views with yesterday's, which is my biggest since posting in General.

It's getting better.
