TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's hard-line government said Wednesday it was removing 40 ambassadors and senior diplomats, including supporters of warmer ties with the West, from their posts in a shake-up that comes as the Islamic republic takes a more confrontational international stance.
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki announced the changes to parliament, saying "the missions of more than 40 ambassadors and heads of Iranian diplomatic missions abroad will expire by the end of the year," which is March 20 under the Iranian calendar.
Mottaki, quoted by the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency, did not specify which ambassadors were among those being removed.
But IRNA said they included the ambassador to London, Mohammad Hossein Adeli, one of Iran's top diplomats and a leading member of the pragmatic foreign policy wing that supports contacts with Europe.
and the IAEA continues as usual...allowing yet another hostile anti-american country to build a nuclear weapon..(rolling eyes). When is the world going to wake up?
Muslims rioting in France and Denmark now and as if on que, the Left Winged Media comes out this morning with some stupid article about 'Secret Prisons' for the murderous barbarians to use as yet another propaganda tool to kill AMERICANS,ISRAELI'S, AND anyone else that will not let them take over the world and force us all into Islam!
Psst, If your name is on the list, I wouldn't go back home. They have a stone with your name on it. Religion of peace, you know.

Interesting. There are some parallels.
....This is beginning to sound a little like Japan back around 1939....
Perhaps there is a lesson for W and his State Dept. If there is a loyalty problem, there should be a purge.

Iranian Unveils Worlds Fastest Transistor
TEHRAN, Nov. 1--An Iranian college professor at Khajeh Nassireddin Tousi Industrial University has created the worlds fastest operating transistor, an invention poised to bring about unprecedented developments in the way advanced electronic equipment function.
Dr. Farshid Raisis research paper submitted to the prestigious US-based magazine Applied Physics Letters has attracted enthusiastic response from scientific centers and received wide coverage in reputable international physics publications.
In an interview with ISNA on Tuesday, Raisi said the vortices, set in motion in the form of solitons (pulses that do not lose energy or their shape as they travel), which he has used in the transistor, travel at the speed of light and are much faster than the electrons in ordinary transistors, leading to quicker switching speeds.
Raisi has observed switching speeds of 8 GHz, as fast or faster than the best existing transistors and expects no insurmountable problems in shrinking and mass producing his soliton device. He aims to achieve speeds of 200 GHz, which would make this transistor attractive for use in supercomputers.
Raisi said the parts required for building the silicon transistors are not available domestically.
With a PhD and MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Raisi is assistant professor at Electronics Engineering Department in the universitys Electrical Faculty.
Shades of Nazi Germany?
Shades of something demonic this way goes. Iran is up to something. It's as if they want to be attacked. I heard they have 40 divisions sitting on the Iraq border right now..is that true?
