Someone tell me how this is different from outing the Democrat Plame? It's NOT. But if the media is outing anyone, it's Freedom of the Press.
Plame already outted herself by having her photo made when she gave money to the Democrats.
Politics should be 'off limits' for CIA, FBI, and local law enforcement.
Period.

Disband the CIA. Move it's functionality to Army Intelligence, or better yet, start a new organization. The current CIA is riddled with commie traitors.

It's treason.

Debate grows within agency about legality, morality of approach.
Oh, yeah, NOW they want to talk morals, but when Lewinsky was smoking Clintoon's cigar, morality was 'off limits.'
Does this tell you anything about the 'morals' of the Media? It should. They have no morals and pull the "moral card" only when it suits their attacking anyone they disagree with.
The soldiers in Iraq are fighting so that the Media can 'freely' report the 'news.' But they've got their heads so firmly up the Liberal Ar$e, they can't smell anything but $h!t and don't even recognize it for what it is.
Note to Media: Do not pee on my boots and tell me it's raining.

If not, why not?

"You should take a peek over at DU or KOS... oh how they claim the moral high ground..what a bunch of two faced liars."
Not unless I could take a bath after reading such crap. And they want to ACT morally superior? Now that's a joke - considering they're the party who loves to kill babies.

The previous story was that secret detainees were being held in Navy ships at sea.
These stories change so dramatically and so quickly.

I don't see how this hurts Bush. Sure, the screeching left will screech, but the real Americans don't care.Exactly. Most Americans (as you say, real Americans) will be pleased to know we've got the worst of the worst in secret prisons around the world, and they won't want these prisoners to be coddled, either.

And if they do care, I'll bet the majority of those Americans will be disgusted with the CIA and whomever is doing the leaking. If they can't keep something like THIS a secret, then the CIA is WORTHLESS.

It's treason.
So, what is the penalty for Treason? Where ARE the Founding Fathers when you need them?
Did Benedict Arnold create a Journalism School?
Or are Journalists (in the broadest sense of the term) given the "Benedict Arnold Award of the Year" when they commit treason?

Nah, the SS could get out of a wet paper bag. They were actually dangerous. The CIA are just incompetent Democrat boobs who wreck everything they touch.

Oh biy, where to start? Where is the investigation of all THIS leaking. Plamegate is nothing compared to the damage this information being made public is. The Rats and their media buddies are going to get people killed.
To: jmc1969
Isn't publishing this information far more damaging than the revealing of the name of a person who MAY have been a covert agent years ago for the CIA? Where may we get a little perspective on the relative importance of the two situations?
This sounds like a very serious leak of information by either a US Senator or one of the staff (if not someone within the CIA itself), and a serious compromise of the ability of the CIA to carry out its mission.

"Certain Individuals within the CIA and the State Department are willing to leak anything and everything to hurt Bush." It is / was a great majority of the CIA - Though Mr. Goss is doing what he can to reduce those numbers. Outside of the SAD of the CIA, 85% + is useless and or dangerous because it (CIA) has become political in the past decade.

Why does anyone think the entire CIA is composed ONLY of traitors and double agents? There are appointees and individuals with Civil Service protection that are entrenched, and nearly impossible to dislodge on the short term. Not all these are politically reliable, nor are they particularly protective of the US as the leading light in the world. Their loyalties may lie with Communist governments, with the UN, with the Dem'crats (in the hope that Dem'crats ever regain political power in this lifetime), or even with the Islamofascists. And the worst part is, they are working alongside good, honest, patriotic agents, whom they would betray in a heartbeat. Makes a good story line for "Alias", but a terrible way to run a covert war.
