Cindy, that's quite enough for me to understand ONE of the types of threats we are facing. But again, could this be well staged misinformation?

Quite bluntly, a lowly car bomb in DC, while killing innocents in the vicinity, would not be cause for me to activate my contingency plans. It would anger me, but sadly, until I'm directly threatened I would not expend valuable supplies and resources.

Thinking out loud now:
10 or 20 lowly car bombs in 10 or 20 cities would be enough to panic the uninformed and unprepared populace. THANKS to TM, I'm neither uninformed or unprepared.

OPINION...As for the car bombs, they would serve the same purpose as the DC snipers did -- to cause terrorism.
