Melanie, who is a broadcaster for KSFO, is all over this story about the rocket fired at the jet that took off from LAX. She's on live now and has the original broadcast of the incident. According to her, Homeland Security was contacted but is still saying that it was a bottle rocket.

yeahrightsure.... bottle rocket at 6,000 feet? Where do they buy their bottle rockets?????
