How quickly they forget. They're too busy right now blasting our President for everything he does. Our nation's security is obviously much less important than partisan politics. Personally, IMHO many of them are accomplishing nothing more than being publicity Wh@^@$. Here's some reminders of their level of alertness and attention to our immigration concerns:
Snip: Since 1992, the R Visa(s) allow Religious Workers to enter the U.S. on a non-immigrant status for a period of three years which may be extended to five (5) years. These visas are not subjected to a quota limitation however the E4 classification as Permanent Special Immigrant Religious Worker is subjected to a quota limitation of 10,000 visas per year.
Snip: 23/10/2005 Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat- More than 10,000 Saudi students will travel to the US to attend university as part of a government-sponsored program following the adoption of new measures by the Ministry of Higher Education aimed at facilitating travel procedures for Saudis. In total, 21,000 Saudis are expected to take part in the program in the next four years.
Snip: In 2004, the United States issued 25,647 student and exchange visitor visas to Chinese nationals.
Snip: The number of foreign students enrolled in U.S. higher education institutions during the 2004-2005 academic year remained fairly steady at 565,039, down 1.3 percent from the previous year's totals, according to the Institute of International Education's (IIE) 2005 report on international academic mobility.
Personal note: It's no wonder they lose track of many of these students - the numbers speak for themselves. And this doesn't involve illegals from our Northern and Southern borders whatsoever.
There is also a jackpot drawing for 50,000 each year, that lets anyone who is drawn in the country.
It was to have been cancelled, but was not.
They were talking about it on the KDWN border control program about a month ago.
