"Tanker fire closes I-95 South"
Updated: Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 - 6:07 AM

ARTICE SNIPPET: "BELTSVILLE, Md. - This note for Thanksgiving travelers -- a tanker truck is burning in the southbound lanes of Interstate-95 at the Capital Beltway, north of Washington.
Both the southbound and northbound lanes of I-95 were still closed at 6 a.m. just north of Washington for safety concerns and heavy smoke conditions.

Prince George's Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady says they believe the tanker may have exploded just before 5 a.m.

Firefighters plan to let most of the gasoline burn off before they try to extinguish the blaze."
