Well this appears to be related to something already known, but whether that strengthens the claims or not I'm not sure.
Here's a clip from the MSM that appears to talk about this situation, perhaps I'm just reading the translation wrong, or perhaps the translation itself is incorrect in important ways.
Anyhow, here's what I've found..

But I've also noted jihadi forums other than the reporting ones that have new threads of images of Zarqawi up now. I don't know what to think, but I'm still hopeful.
