Terror Rising-Two Islamic terrorist groups launch
their bid for a global caliphate.

When the State and Treasury departments manage to cooperate with
each other to halt terrorist financing, they should consider putting Hizb
ut Tahrir (Islamic Liberation Party) and its splinter organization,
Al-Mujahiroun, on the U.S.-designated terrorist list and freeze their
assets.
Hizb ut Tahrir (HT) and Al-Mujahiroun, like al Qaeda and Hizbollah,
describe the USA, the United Kingdom and Israel as “the work of the
devil,” and European democracy as "a farce". The group’s goal is to
establish a global caliphate and force all non-Muslim states to pay a
tax or face military attacks. Its graduates join al-Qaeda, according to
the director of international security and energy programs at the
Nixon Centre in Washington, DC, Zeyno Baran. More ominously, HT
and Al-Mujahiroun call for a jihad against the U.S., its allies, and
moderate Muslim states in order to “find and kill the Kufar
(non-believers).” The groups, together with the Muslim Brotherhood,
were reportedly behind last month’s riots in France.
HT, a global Islamist organization in the mold of al-Qaeda, was
established in 1952 by Sheikh Taqi al-Din al-Nabahani in the
Jordanian occupied part of Jerusalem as a branch of the Muslim
Brotherhood. It soon expanded to neighboring countries in the Middle
East and has since been banned from most of them. With the growing
immigration of Muslim workers to Europe, the movement established
branches in Germany, the UK and France. By the 1980s, it spread to
Turkey, India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Australia.
Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, it rushed to fill the spiritual
gap in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and parts of Russia. Soon after,
HT’s incitement to terrorism and several attempts by the group on the
lives of public officials prompted Central Asian governments and
Russia to ban the organization. After 9/11, when it re-invigorated its
campaign in Europe and metastasized into Scandinavia, it was
outlawed in Germany and Sweden.
After the July bombings in London, the British government announced
that it will ban the HT. However, it has yet to follow through. The
reason is that the British mistakenly believe that by barring HT’s
leader, Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammad, from returning to the U.K.,
they have solved the problem.
Not even the strong and public warnings from Pakistani President
Pervez Musharraf last August have moved Britain to act. In a meeting
with the British Premier, Musharraf admonished Blair, saying, "There
is Hizb Ur-Tahrir and al-Muhajiroun, who operate with full impunity in
that [England] area." Emphasizing the violent nature of the group,
Musharraf stated, "They had the audacity of passing an edict against
my life and yet they operate with impunity."

People" last week. A large map of “Palestine,” with Israel literally
wiped off the map, featured prominently in the festivities.

Muslim leader in Philadelphia deported

The leader of a small Philadelphia mosque was deported to his native
Egypt on Thursday for overstaying his visa, authorities said.
Mohamed Ghorab, imam of the Ansaar Allah Islamic Society in the
city's Bridesburg section, lost his battle to remain in the United States
last week when a federal appeals court upheld a judge's deportation
order.
"The removal of Mr. Ghorab represents the latest in (the
government's) effort to ensure that there are consequences for
violations of US immigration laws," Thomas Decker, of Immigrations
and Customs Enforcement's Philadelphia office, said in a statement.

Imagine this scenario if you have the courage…
You are sitting in your car with your family waiting for a school bus to unload. Children are disembarking the bus when you spy an old car speeding toward the intersection. “That lunatic is going to hit those children!” you say to your spouse who is sitting beside you.
That’s the last thing you remember before waking up in the hospital.
The nurse tells you not to speak but you struggle through your pain to ask, “Where are my wife and children? What happened?”
The nurse walks away and the doctor steps up to your bed. You notice for the first time that you can only see out of one eye and that you are hooked up to a multitude of machines.
“Sir, you were in the direct vicinity of a car bomb, a suicide bomb. Your family is dead. I am sorry. You need to rest. When you are feeling up to it the police want to talk to you about what you saw.”

You have been on the Internet and have forwarded an email critical of the government performance to some of the people in your address book. You didn’t write it but you agree with the statement and therefore thought to share it with your likeminded friends. You shut your computer off and head on up to bed, as is the norm for you.
Suddenly, at 3:00am, five unidentified men kick in your front door and race up the stairs. They have automatic weapons and their faces are covered. You are in a fog. Your wife is screaming. You hear your kids screaming. You don’t know what is going on.
As you gather your wits the five men are holding your children, with weapons to their heads, at the foot of your bed. It all happened so fast you feel like you’re moving in slow motion. You move to act but are cracked over the head with the butt of a rifle. “Try that again and your youngest gets a bullet in the head,” a voice commands.
You sit half conscious with blood dripping down the side of your face and the same voice asks, “Did you send an email criticizing our government to John Smith today?”
You think back to all of the emails you sent and then remember the last email that you forwarded. “John Smith, John Smith, did I send it to John?” you think to yourself. You feel another crack to your head. “Answer!” the voice says.
“I don’t know. I can’t remember,” you say to the unidentifiable man.
Suddenly, the one holding you’re your youngest child kicks her legs out from under her and breaks her arm just at the elbow. As she shrieks in pain, crying out for you, you lunge to her defense. One of the other men lifts his weapon and shoots your wife in the head. She is dead.
“Did you send an email criticizing our government to John Smith today?” the voice screams in a more impatient tone. This time one of the men has a pistol to your oldest child’s head.
If you don’t think that these two scenarios can play out in the United States you are uninformed not only to the threat of radical Islamofascism but also to the consequences of losing the War on Radical Islam.
The threat is real. Thousands who have escaped the brutal oppression of Islamofascist regimes recount their horrors each day. My oldest had her first experience driving home from school in the snow.
I grew a few grey hairs waiting.
Snow has been coming about an inch an hour and we're used to it around here. Hence, nothing gets cancelled and basketball practice was still on.
