I already promised Ruth that I would bring LOTS of tinfoil.

In the meantime, please send me your recipe for the creme brulee cheesecake. I just bought one of those "kitchen-sized" propane torches to blast the sugar topping for that lucious brown crunch. I'm dying to try it out.

Ruth, I do windows. I work magic with a squeegee and ammonia.

Let me see what I'm bringing and I'll post the recipe.

Thank you for the report, it does not surprise me, I am listening to Mike Reagan on the radio, as I read it.

Congressman Culvertson (not sure of the name from Texas I think), is on with Mike, he went with the Sheriff at Laredo, Texas to the border at midnight.

The sheriff made him wear a full body armor and gave him a loaded M-16 for protection, they went in with lights off, after sending in another police car with out lights to draw the fire and to case the area for border crossers.

The Sheriff told him a few days ago, that there is a new training camp 40 miles SE of Del Rio, Texas, for the islamist terrorists.

The last year the border crossers and islamist have increased greatly.

They are taking mexican names.

They are talking about massive truck bombs to be set off in the USA.

"Operation Linebacker" is the new bill in the House, to assign money to the local Sheriff's on the border for border enforcement, could be voted on in december.

culbertson.gov.house may be his website, he says the Border bill is there.

He said that the reason we are still waiting for the attack is that the terrorists are not quite ready.

Some of you will get the Mike Reagan program by delay or if you go to reagan.com, I heard him say the other day that you could listen on the computer for free. It is in the second half of the first hour of todays program.

I will say this for Culbertson, his voice was filled with excitement and his trip to the border has convinced him of the terrorist threat.

Tancredo had said that others were joining him in the fight to close the border, I had heard that some of the Congressmen were making trips to the border and checking it out.

Odd, that I would be reading your post on attacks, as this interview came on the radio, the above may be choppy, but I
was attempting to listen and type........LOL

It sounds as if they think 10,000 is a nice round number.

Laughing, as I think of the menu.

Green Beans and wonderful deserts....sounds good to me.

Years ago, I loved to bake and would do so all day, breads, cakes etc.

But I hated to cook dinner.

Bill had few set laws, but one of them was a real dinner, not sandwiches for dinner.

I would be all so happy from all my lovely baking, and he would be wanting real food on the table.

Once I was in bed sick, my mother came to help and got started baking pies, all kinds, her speciality (not mine).

When reminded that Bill would be wanting dinner, she fed him hot dogs.......

And I knew then, where I had gotten my baking from.

Yes, we could both cook, good farm cooking, or as I found out on the internet a few years ago, she cooked what I found were Cherokee recipes in a Cherokee cook book.

She was a full blood Cherokee, and we do cook differently and with more herbs, than many.....more like a Mexican cook.

Mr. RR is half Cherokee. My dear, sweet mother is one fourth.

And yes, we do love our herbs in food.

I have to cook a full dinner every night (unless we go out). I spoiled him very early in our marriage. After 45 years, I still have no regrets. He spoils me too.

Sounds good, Cindy.

My favorite fruit salad dressing is nearly as simple. A small carton of vanilla yogurt and toasted pecans.

Another version, that I have made for years, is cantalope cut in chunks, bannanas and pineapple.

Simple and easy.

Of course, you can add to it, what ever you think of, but the 3 fruits works well and is fairly quick.

Wonderful, haven't had that in years, Mother made it all the time, with 5 kids, she needed to stretch those rare bannanas that came into the house.

She was good at puddings and pies, I never had the time to stand there and stir.

When I had fresh goat milk, I discovered that using it and a box of vanilla or coconut instant pudding and adding pineapple to it, gave me a wonderful desert in seconds.

People would actually ask for the recipe.

Not many people could copy my baking, as I would go to the goat and milk directly onto my yeast, then go back and complete the baking, something about the direct from the goat milk, made it work differently.

Goose and Duck eggs work well in baking.

I am not much of an egg eater, have to hide them.

"The right hand of bin Laden, the Number Two in "Al-Qaeda" was trained at the secret base of the Russian secret services on Caucasus, the former Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB)Alexander Litvinenko told the Polish Rzeczpospolita newspaper."

Not surprised here, but this is Hot! I hope the Washington Times and FoxNews picks this up shakes out whatever the truth of it is and runs with it.

"The second-in-command of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network has made Queen Elizabeth II a target for terrorist attacks, British security sources confirmed yesterday (November 13)."

Might be a good idea to be vigilant around anything with the name Elizabeth...towns, colleges etc.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE
Office of the Spokesman
This information is current as of today, Fri Nov 18 2005 17:52:49 GMT-0800.

East Africa

November 18, 2005

This Public Announcement is being re-issued to remind Americans of the continuing potential for terrorist actions against U.S. citizens in East Africa, particularly along the East African coast, and to note the increasing number of incidents of maritime piracy near the Horn of Africa and the southern Red Sea near Yemen. This supersedes the Public Announcement of September 23, 2005, and expires on April 17, 2006.

Supporters of Al-Qaida and other extremists are active in East Africa. Americans considering travel to the region and those already there should review their plans carefully, remain vigilant with regard to their personal security, and exercise caution. Terrorist actions may include suicide operations, bombings, kidnappings or targeting maritime vessels. Terrorists do not distinguish between official and civilian targets. Increased security at official U.S. facilities has led terrorists to seek softer targets such as residential areas, clubs, restaurants, American commercial interests, western-oriented shopping centers, places of worship, hotels, schools, outdoor recreation events, resorts, and beaches. In particular, terrorists may target civil aviation and seaports. Americans in remote areas or border regions where military or police authority is limited or non-existent could also become targets.

Americans considering seaborne travel near the Horn of Africa or in the southern Red Sea should exercise extreme caution, as there have been several dozen incidents of armed attacks, robberies, and kidnappings for ransom at sea by unknown pirates in the last year. At least three flagged vessels were hijacked in October 2005 off the coast of Somalia. In addition, on November 5, 2005, a cruise ship carrying a substantial number of American citizens was attacked by unidentified assailants off the Somali coast using small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. No U.S. citizens were hurt in these attacks; however, these incidents highlight the continuing danger of maritime travel near the Horn of Africa and underscore the need for heightened security when traversing these waters.

The U.S. Government maritime authorities advise mariners to avoid the Port of Mogadishu, and to remain at least 200 nautical miles off the coast of Somalia. In addition, when transiting around the Horn of Africa or in the Red Sea near Yemen, it is strongly recommended that vessels travel in convoys, and maintain good communications contact at all times.

Americans living or traveling in East Africa are encouraged to register with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate through the State Department’s travel registration website, https://travelregistration.state.gov. Americans without Internet access may register directly with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy or Consulate to contact them in case of emergency.

U.S. citizens planning to travel to East Africa should consult the Department of State's country-specific Public Announcements, Travel Warnings, Consular Information Sheets, the Worldwide Caution Public Announcement and other information, available at http://travel.state.gov. Up-to-date information on security conditions can also be obtained by calling 1-888-407-4747 in the U.S. and for callers outside the U.S. and Canada a regular toll line at 1-202-501-4444.

<>The viewpoints of this professor in no way depict the views of Warren County Community College, its administration, or the Board of Trustees. The College does however support the constitution, the first amendment, and the right to free speech.

The College can bend to those fracturing the right to free speech, and parents and students considering colleges, also have the right to select colleges hiring professors who do not urge the fragging of US officers by American soldiers. Warren County Community College has elected to support the professor's right to suggest personal injury of other individuals - individuals who are attempting to secure the safety of our nation. Responsible people (administrations or boards of trustees) do NOT advocate personal injury or attack on others as the professor in their employ has suggested.
