The Dems know the report is coming soon, so they wanted to make a big fuss and accuse a "cover-up" and "conspiracy" because the report is going to rebuke all of their rhetoric of the last 2 years.
They are trying to set the tone for how the report is received. They would like it if the headline following the report release is "Republican Cover-up?"
The GOP really needs to stop get smart and stop playing nice with these clowns. Republicans constantly assume civility, honesty, and good faith from the Democrats, and they keep getting stung by their stunts and dirty tricks.
The GOP needs to roll up their sleeves and fight back. They should be using the power of investigation and prosecution against people like Joe Wilson, Ronnie Earle, and
Harry Reid.

But by the same token the Rs should get serious about playing hardball.The majority has the power to publicly censure Reid, Durbin and the rest for their vile behaviour and they havn't done it.Until the Ds are made to pay a heavy price for their actions, they will have no reason to stop.
