Harry Reid just made a motion, that was seconded, to send the Senate into closeed session.Schumer, Rockefeller and Durbin are before the press asking for a Senate Intelligence investigation into the Plame affair
Again, another demonstration of why it is stupid for people to threaten to "sit out the next election".

People should refamiliarize themselves with the Rockefeller Memo and the 25th Ammendment right now. This has been planned all along. IMO

This closed session is just DEM temper tantrum. THey learned this from the TX legislators who ran away to NM.
This appears to be their opening salvo in their call for impeachment of President Bush. They have no chance but they must feel the time is right to go after him for taking the country into the Iraq War by lying about the intelligence.
And we the voters will kill them at the polls.
There's an on-going criminal investigation. Now is not the time for the Senate to get involved in this thing.
As I've said before, the Dems will keep pushing this thing until they find a way to run Bush out of town.

You notice how they like to use the word "affair" like it's an historical event.

Bill Schneider CNN says this is a revolt, a revolt because lasst week's indictment did not force a discussion on the Iraq war.
In other words, they are in a pissing contest with Frist because they are so ticked off Rove didn't get indicted.
I'm watching Reid on CSPAN. Did they forget the camera's were on? :)
A motion is one thing. What was the Senate's vote to do it?
If you're watching CSPAN 2, this is where Reid lost it and made the motion to go into closed session. He actually yelled!
