Another Democrat IMPEACHMENT slip
Fox News Dayside

Posted on 11/01/2005 10:31:27 AM PST by Pukin Dog

Did anyone else hear the Democrat debating Ann Coulter on Dayside just now? She mentioned that "the President was trying to distract from the impeachments that happened last week."

Coulter caught it, and reminded her that the last impeachment was that of Bill Clinton, but the point is that it seems clear that the Democrats have impeachment on the brain. That is what the whole Libby-Rove thing is all about. If there is a transcript of this show, someone should post it, because the Dems are now a one-trick pony, seeking impeachment at every turn.

Saw her, and choked on the statement. Ann was right in her face with it... "the last impeachment know was in 1998..."!

RULESZ!

I heard that too. It was pretty funny. I don't think the lady that said it even realized what she had said. It kind of negated the rest of her already weak argument. I almost felt bad for her....almost.

Of course they do. It's a good thing, too. Because: first, it's never going to happen; second, their continually chasing their tails on this issue provides amusement to FR, and enlightenment to the voters; third, the energy and money they put into this is energy and money they don't use for something like electing people of their own way of thinking to public office.

Being a compassionate man, who wishes well even to his foes, I keep telling them this over at DU, confident that they are too stupid to ever follow this advice.

I never feel bad when a liberal is denigrated or humilated by a conservative.

It just shows that they believe its the only chance they have. They cant win at the ballot box, they cant win in the courts, so now its all about political assassination.

When that fails, I guess their next plan will be to drop the 'political' from that last phrase.

Ann was basically saying that most Americans agree with the right wing's arguments, and the Dem claimed that the recent poll showing that 55% don't approve with Bush contradicts Ann's statement. however, I consider myself a right winger and I disapprove of some of Bush's policies (steel tarrifs, immigration, Miers nomination, etc.).

I'm just pissed they let that shill from the dnc filibuster Ann Coulter who was making a very conjent argument against the liberal smear campaign that's ramping up against conservatives.

The democrats are having 1972 fantasies again. (aside from the fact that Nixon wasn't impeached)

Ann should have responded that Bush poll numbers drop when he does not stick with the Conservatives that put him in office. Next week, Bush's poll numbers should explode upwards.

Of course she did! The democratic party's entire function has become to invent plausible lies to bring to the "debate."

Yep, that's what I've been talking about. The Dems will keep pushing this thing in the hope that they can run Dubya out of town. They're serious.
