From what I understand it could be very serious.
But from what I understand there's no vaccine that would help if the breakout does occur.
I've read that perhaps its not so serious...

When I heard this on the news this morning, I'm thinking to myself, is this really a true threat?
I mean, they reported 60 deaths since 2003 in ASIA. IN ASIA... So what's going on in the US? And why is this so pertenant (sp?) to doing something about it right now?
I love Bush, but sometimes I wonder why he wastes time on this kind of stuff and completely ignores the biggest problem the US has, illegal aliens and protecting our border. Grrr...

No protection for chickens and turkeys?... It's more likely to wipe out our poultry industry than it is to kill large numbers of people. And people are more likely to get it from chickens and turkeys than they are to get it from each other.

My company was scheduled to provide flu shot yesterday. It was cancelled due to a late shipment of the vaccine. Hope it wasn't from the same guy that was giving water shots in Baytown.

Americans get 7 Billion of there own money for what we are told is a flu to kill millions of us and President Bush give 15 Billion dollars of our money to Africa.

If there's a flu 'outbreak' you won't be able to see a doctor for months, if then. You'll have to stand in a line (waiting for the government) along with everyone else who has the flu. Good Luck.

Has anyone heard what is the outcome of the request of GWB to congress to advise him about the us of the US military to impose quarantines?
Congress could authorize a $7 billion program to prevent people from slipping on the ice and breaking an ankle. Too bad we got this idea that Congress should spend a dime for anything but defense and increase of commerce.
Hey Bush. You want ANOTHER $7 billion? How about an accounting for the $TRILLIONS the Federal Government is already spending on health programs. Apparently we getting NOTHING for tidal wave of tax dollars.
