Indonesian Christians Terrified After Children Beheaded
JAKARTA, Indonesia -- Indonesian troops were on high alert Monday, bracing for a new cycle of sectarian violence in a province where machete-wielding assailants beheaded three Christian schoolgirls and seriously wounded a fourth.
Religious leaders called on their followers to remain calm and to refrain from revenge attacks, reminding them that investigators have yet to determine who was behind Saturday's grisly murders in Central Sulawesi province.
Suspicion has fallen, however, on Islamic militants responsible for a series of attacks on Christians since a peace deal in 2002 ended a bloody conflict that killed as many as 1,000 people from both communities.
National police spokesman Maj. Gen. Aryanto Budihardjo said there were no key suspects in the killings, and that only six people have been questioned so far -- among them the wounded teenager who was being kept under close watch at a police hospital.

The beginning of this story is discussed on Free Republic --
Extremists behead three Christian students in Indonesia
Persecution of Christians worldwide just like this happens every day, yet it goes unnoticed by the American MSM.
If these were gay teens or Islamic teens, this story would be everywhere... but they were Christians, which apparently makes them fair game.
I don't want to start a hate-fest against any group. I just want people in this country to be aware of the persecution that Christians face daily around this world.
If you are skeptical about the depth and breadth of this problem, you might want to do your own research at Voice of the Martyrs. You may be shocked.

If we can take action against Christians killing Muslims in Croatia, why can't we help protect the Christians of Indonesia?
Oh,sorry....silly question.Christians are the root of all evil both here and abroad.

Suspicion has fallen, however, on Islamic militantsAre the people at AP really so stupid they can't figure this one out? I doubt if it was Southern Baptists from Texas who did it.

For one thing, The MSM can't stand Christians. Another thing is this, That anybody who says that Islam is a peaceful religion, This story should put a crack in the Shell that is their myth.

What do they mean by both communities and 1000 dead? Do they mean it was equally distributed 500/500? That's what you'd draw from this rhetoric.
My guess is that the real story is something different.

A truly multicultural holiday display: a creche, a menorah, and a car bomb.

Father God, I pray that you save and change all the moslems of the world. If they refuse to be converted I pray that you kill them all before they can drag others into hell with them.

We need an "arm the Christians" foundation to offset the "Muslim charities" being used to arm the Muslims. Peace through superior firepower.

I think the families of those beheaded Christian schoolgirls need to take a step back and think about what they did to provoke such a response. This kind of thing doesn't happen in a vacuum - the beheaders may have some legitimate grievances and they deserve a hearing.

In religious circles, one hears stories like this, but not the MSM.

If only
Sesame Street could cure this problem.
But what kind of sick, twisted psycho does this stuff? They not only beheaded schoolgirls, they left the heads where they would make the most impact.
The heads of the three victims were found several miles from their bodies. Two were left near a police station and another in front of a newly built Christian church.
This is either the act of a sociopath or an act of war. Maybe in this case, it is both. The Crusades were over by the 15th Century, weren't they? Or were they?

If you haven't been to Indonesia, Burma, and other Asian countries, you have no idea what these bastards are like.
