Maybe cedarswingman can help you. He lives in Nashville now and probably knows plenty of performers who are looking for work...epecially something that would be very popular with conservatives!
Cedar...you there? Can you help Doug find a performer for his awesome parody songs?
Okay, gotta tell the story.
Remember when the movie "Little Shop of Horrors" came out? Son #2 wanted the game Feed Me (or something like that).
One little stupid game & could never find it. I'd go to each store ask, get this strange look & hear "No M'am, we don't carry it." Come to find out, stupid me was innocently asking for "Eat me." No wonder those teenage clerks looked mortified each time I would ask.
ROFL!!!! It's a wonder one of them didn't call security on you! How embarrassing!
I think he's off the hook because Diana died.
Man you are bang on about the tired old guests. I hardly ever listen to Sean but on the odd occasion when I tune in he's got the same old people on. I'm not so sure Sean is really as nice as he pretends to be. I sense a touch of phonyness. I know someone who deals with him and he can be a real nasty piece of work on occasion. But then again, can't we all.
Aha! WHICH name is the "real" name?
When a friend of mine died, his wife was hysterical that she didn't have anything in his "CIA name". I calmly pointed out that he had published books in his "other" name, after he had retired. Noooo, that was a pseudonymn, not his "deep cover" name. Come to find out he had 3 names!
Oh well. You just never know who is who!
LOL. You said what I was thinking but afraid to say it.
Wilson had high security clearance, despite having been married to someone described as a undercover spy for France?
I am just now reading the Tony Snow thread...it has been a hectic morning and I haven't been able to be online today...
Yesterday, I was listening to Hannity in the car, while waiting for my granddaughter to get out of school...and I heard Sean go on and on about how he isn't a Republican, he is a conservative...not just any conservative, but a "REAGAN" conservative...which is fine...I don't understand the need to always reference Reagan..but, so what...
BUT...then Sean started bagging on President Bush and how he fails to live up to the legacy of Reagan...and one thing that Sean kept stressing, was "border and illegal immigration control"...he must have said that 5-6 times.
I wished I had my computer...President Reagan gave AMNESTY to millions of illegals...he made it WORSE...because he set the precedent of the illegals coming here...and then they know they will eventually get amnesty...
Varmintxer...I am about ready to turn off talk radio...even the "good guys" are driving me nuts lately.....the first was Laura Ingraham....but, all of them are disappointing...sigh...
I heard that rant also and just wasn't impressed. Reagan did go off the plantation and I remember how pi$$ed I was with several of his policies but Sean acts like he was dipped in conservatism.
I quit LI after Katrina, MM has been weak lately, Savage wants to talk about Savage and HH has lost me also. My choices are getting slim. I was hoping Sean would get some hints from his threads but doesn't seem like it.
It looks like too many have books to sell or selling someone elses' book. I too am disappointed with many of the talkies.
Thank you....I was beginning to think that either I am TOO particular...or just in a bad mood.
Did John Gibson do well today for Tony??? I get it later this evening...
He did good when I listened but he was going to talk about his book in the third hr. so I turned him off.
I was thinking exactly the way as you, maybe I should just quit for a while.
Got to go for a while, see ya later.
