November 1, 2005 -- A new sexually provocative Fernando Ferrer campaign ad, that shows Mayor Bloomberg grabbing President Bush, hits below the belt, the mayor's aides charged last night.
Bloomberg's team was fuming over the animated 30-second TV spot titled "Buddies" which shows Bloomberg and Bush as cartoon characters riding together like cowboys on the same horse through an oil field, while country music plays in the background.
Bloomberg wears a suit. Bush sports a cowboy hat, a plaid shirt and a holster with a gun. They are bobbing up and down.
Then Bloomberg's right hand, which holds a wad of cash, moves up and down in a rhythmic motion below Bush's belt, as a grin crosses the president's face, and his arms and legs quiver momentarily.
Bloomberg then gives the money to the president and Bush's pistol goes off in celebration.

Sink, Freddy, sink.
Is this four or five times now that Ferrer has lost a bid for the mayoralty?
This is the best ad I've ever heard of.
Bill Clinton was out there stumping for this Fernando Ferrer recently, wasn't he?
And New York's two Democrat Senators, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer are both supporting Ferrer, aren't they?
Does it get any better than this?
The Democrats for Bergen County Freeholder are running against President Bush instead of their Republican opponents. As if the Bergen County Freeholder position has anything to do with the War in Iraq or Wilson or anything like that.
And I think they are going to lose. Sweet!
The $7 Million donation that the advertisment talks about is when Mayor Bloomberg shelled out 7 Million dollars of his own money to the RNC to bring the Republican Convention to New York City in order to spur the local economy and showcase New York in a national event.
If Ferrer wants to knock the Mayor for digging into his own pocket to promote economic development in New York, that's his business. But I think most voters like that sort of thing.
