Good. Does this dynamic duo have a website where a link to view the Thug's behavior can be used?

Your title made me LOL. Was she attacked on air, live? Is it planned for her to be attacked on air, live?

And yes I know what you mean.

Some things haven't changed in a hundred years...unions have always employed thuggish strong arm tactics when it suited them.

Not sure>

But I DO know that Michelle Malkin has a link to the video on HER blog.

From michellemalkin.com:

UNION THUGS UNHINGED

Check out this video of not-so-peaceful union protesters in California--here (via the California Republican Party) and at The Political Teen--mobbing a lone pro-Schwarzenegger woman on Thursday who supports union reform initiatives on next week's ballot.

Even the "security guard" (that's her in the photo below in the middle of the screen with the orange vest) piled on and helped ripped up the poor woman's signs.

I'm sure if it were the other way around, the national network news shows would be running the full video near the top of their broadcasts. But who needs 'em anymore?

Screen shot via The Political Teen:

thugs.jpg

The California Conservative has the story covered.

Local KCAL9 reporter Carter Evans in Los Angeles:

Opponents tried to hit her with their signs, and some blocked news cameras as she argued her point. The crowd turns quickly, grabbing her signs and tearing them up, even a woman wearing an orange security vest angrily rips up the Vote Yes signs.

Lonewacko notes:

Someone wearing a 'Unite Here' T-shirt reaches down from the stage and grabs the victim's cap off, and she has to reach back to grab it back. And, I saw at least one person put her hands on the victim.

So there we have it in living color: the unhinged union Left's whatever-it-takes protectionism. "Whatever" meaning pushing. Shoving. Destroying property.
Squelching free speech. And intimidating women.

The California Republican Party writes:

While $115 million has been spent by public employee unions to oppose the reform initiatives and promote a message that the voices of their members will be silenced if Prop 75 passes, an angry mob of dues paying union members showed what little respect they have for free speech by physically attacking a woman who spoke out in support of the governor’s reform initiatives.

...Whipping the crowd into a frenzy was none other than Speaker Fabian Nunez, who was a featured speaker at the rally in Pershing Square. At the very least, Nunez – a former union organizer himself – has a duty to issue a public apology to this woman on behalf the union bosses who control him. That is, unless the Speaker believes that violence and thuggery are acceptable forms of public expression.

Call Speaker Fabian Nunez’s office today and DEMAND THAT HE ISSUE A PUBLIC APOLOGY TO GENEVIEVE PETERS.

We are certainly generating two classes of patriots in California who risk bodily injury to support US principles and traditions.

Those that serve in Iraq as members of our Armed Forces and those that attend domestic political events sponsored by the left.

Pro-Arnie Wingnut Ruins Peaceful Union Rally
by Nolan

Some of you may have seen an Arnold supporter who just "happened" to find herself in the midst of a union rally.

After instigating the SEIU crowd, she ranted for the cameras in an obvious set up.  Check out the film for yourself (.wmv file)

I don't come down to the pro-Arnold rallies and place myself at the corner of Arnold's stage and expect to be offered milk-and-cookies, do I?  Our protesters have the respect to keep their distance and not plant themselves in the middle of the opposition to put on a show for the news camera.  Has the right no respect?  (don't answer that)

How do we know she is a right wing operative?  Check out the flip.

She is a FReeper who likes to cavort around with Ann Coulter

It's the same two Marines on the same night with two different women.  I wonder what they have in common?  Perhaps a similar detachment from reality?

Her name is Genevieve Peters and she's been up to this before.  I wonder what she thinks of Democrats:

The 41-year-old teacher and Beverly Hills resident founded L.A. for Bush ... Democrats, she explained, "stand for hate and for vengeance and a globalization that has no strength or character or anything that's for America. America, from the beginning of time, had an identity and culture. And they're trying to decimate our identity and culture . . . to some melting pot like Europe."

She added, "Democrats have gone in and said, `We're just all one. Every culture has a place here.' No! We're an American culture."

Is that the same Europe that gave us your beloved Arnold?

Thanks. What a great paragraph:

"While $115 million has been spent by public employee unions to oppose the reform initiatives and promote a message that the voices of their members will be silenced if Prop 75 passes, an angry mob of dues paying union members showed what little respect they have for free speech by physically attacking a woman who spoke out in support of the governor’s reform initiatives."

From the OTHER thread:
DO you have a link to a print source?

I'd like to post a newspaper article on this at work.

I have not yet seen much posted about this in the "mainstream" legacy media.
Almost All of the coverage has been on the bogs -- and, of course, here on FR. :o)
A few of the BEST summaries of this incident are posted HERE:
www.californiaconservative.org

thepoliticalteen.net and

michellemalkin.com

SEVERAL of the blogs include a quote attributed to CBS 2:
A single Schwarzenegger supporter struggles to hold her ground in a rally against the governor’s special election initiatives. Opponents tried to hit her with their signs and some blocked news cameras as she argued her point. The crowd turns quickly, grabbing her signs and tearing them up. Even a woman wearing an orange security vest rips up the “Vote Yes” signs.” (CBS 2 News, October 28, 2005)
I have not yet been able to find a PRINT version of that original source. It seems to be a TRANSCRIPTION of the video from a televised report on L.A.'s KCAL 9/KCBS 2 (which are both owned by the same company) -- reposted here:

They are obnoxious and opportunistic. They jumped on the illegal immigrant bandwagon just in time to save their jobs.

Nice pic. Is there any reason she can't sue the pants off these jerks? That's where I would go with it. Both criminal and civil charges.

http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/insider/

Schwarzenegger's people have called a press conference for later today to complain about this assault on one of their supporters at a union rally against the governor's agenda in Los Angeles on Friday. The harassment of the woman -- including the actions of union security guard who took the woman's sign and tore it to pieces -- is abhorent. I'd hope that union organizers would condemn it as well. Emotions run high and these things do happen as individuals fail to exercise self-restraint. They need not be a symbol of the entire movement if the leadership steps up and apologizes for the behavior. Otherwise, the kind of thugish behavior exhibited on the video will come to be seen as an extension of the political brutishness the public employee unions all too often exercise inside the Capitol.
