I know the point your trying to make, but it doesnt fly - blacks are not being held accountable for their actions - instead the frivolous use of the term "white advantage" is used as a crutch for their lack of self control and responsibility. I believe the use of the term only incites more unfounded white guilt and racial hate.
I truly believe that what is needed here is tough love - no more crutches for a population that refuses to help themselves. We have allowed our emotion and not our common sense guide us on trying to improve race relations and the dems have taken advantage of that - trying to create racial hate and tension. At least Bill Cosby is trying to start black Americans into accepting responsibility for their behavior and condition. Not one other race in America is entitled to or expects such handouts. We must expect and encourage black Americans to succeed on merit and be vigilant in our respect of the law that no one shall be discriminated against or preferred above another. That will only happen if we fight against the libs and RINOs in their predetermining that blacks are "disadvantage" based on their skin color.
One more point - who is responsible for you and who do you blame when you fail? What about the kids your wife taught?

Seriously, I have failed and failed miserably times without number. In a lot of ways I guess I am "successful" now, but I realize it is tenuous and could change on a dime. It is not failing that makes a failure. It is quitting, or giving up. It is also persistence that makes for success. That characteristic beats talent, brains, personality, good looks, and just about everything else. You win if you are just too stupid to lie down and quit. I have my parents to thank for that viewpoint on life (and athletics). I just feel sorry for the kids who have no one there to say "I believe in you." Tell a kid he is a sack of shit enough and part of him believes you, whether he is white or black. I don't feel guilty about all the wasted lives of kids (especially black kids, but plenty in every race) as much as I feel sad for all the wasted, beautiful potential.
