The analogy was condoms to handing out water cans advertising a beverage they don't approve of.

Here is an analogy you might understand. A large poison manufacturer decided to help in the relief efforts and put water in it's cans. The can's were labeled poison not for human consumption and had a skull and crossbones on the side. Everyone got upset and said that we cannot pass out water in these cans. Children drinking this water might one day think that it is OK to drink out of any can labeled poison.
To the SB there is no difference. To them they are passing out water with a poison label on it. A poison to the body and the soul. Children may think that it OK to drink out of any can with this poison beer label on it.
