Okay, Freepers, I need your help here.
I think I may know what happened to get Wilson’s wife outed. For the most part I think I can prove it. I just need a little more information. The kind of stuff I can’t get to. But, I now know it all was a last ditch effort to stop the war before Saddam was captured in Iraq on 14 December, 2003
Please don’t go thinking I’m off my rocker, I don’t normally attempt investigative sourcing, but I do think there are legs under this story and they might begin here.
Also, in line of the 'covert' thing: Valerie apparently had all the standard - but transparent - covers commonly used for higher level admin/control. If and when she WAS covert, there were a half dozen cut outs between her and any sources and I'd bet the farm tht every agency on the ground in here area knew perfectly well what and who she was.
If you know where she was stationed and when, and if you or someone you know is language proficient, you might find open source proof of the latter.
Speaking of which - hint - see if she is ever identified as a linguist while in US employ.
If I were really to indulge myself into a complete conspiracy theory I'd say "Could be" Or better yet, maybe Jacqueline and Valerie are one and the same person! If she outed herself to him she may have needed to end Jacqueline's "life" and begin a new one as Valerie.
It would be a hell of a stretch but aren't the CIA supposed to be able to do stuff like this?
Jacqueline doesn't seem to exist anywhere so maybe she was wiped clean except for a few seemingly minor places.
Of course I'd just be gussing at wind directions here and I really don't want to turn this into something like that.
I'd rather just vet out what we have here to ensure it's correct and true.
55 is Joe Wilson's current age (for a few more days--he was born on Nov. 6, 1949, assuming he gave the correct information to Who's Who).
I refuse to believe that the whole agency is corrupt, so there must be some people out there who are looking into this. There has to be people within the agency that are horrified by this entire thing, the leaking to the press, the whole WMD fiasco (Saddam only had WMDs when Clinton was in office and bombing Iraq, but suddenly as soon as Bush takes office they never existed?)
I hope so too. Clinton's legacy is still casting a pall on our country and us and probably will for years to come.

I never even realized he had a second wife until I read this piece today. It does raise troubling questions. I need to check the timelines on this perhaps it connects more dots.

This is one more reason why Joe Wilson's junket to Niger makes no sense to me. If the CIA was serious about getting information about yellowcake sales from Niger, they could have sent an anonymous someone to Benin. Maybe they did, I don't know. And I don't need to know. But having Joe Wilson set himself up in a hotel room and interview government officials is not likely to learn anything. The most we can hope for is that it was a distraction from a real CIA investigation.
Where is ravingnutter these days? His post indicates that someone warned him off this story. Did he take the hint and decide to stop posting?
Larry Johnson says he knew Valerie Plame when they were in CIA training back in the 1980's.

The documents are fakes. They could be dated any time the forger wanted them to be.

Maybe Jacqueline is another Wilson fiction and never existed. Maybe that's why she is listed as Jacqueline "C." Wilson in regard to having the same house address. JOE'S second initial is "C". If she was his wife while he was ambassador to Gabon wouldn't there be official pictures somewhere? Wouldn't they have held special functions for dignitaries and other big-shots? All we know of their life together comes from Wilson. Wouldn't there be marriage records or divorce records somewhere? Maybe JOE is Jacqueline. Fedora said this in my above post:

Maybe that's part of how Wilson augmented his income to pay for the home--in which case, though, it seems odd he and Valerie ended up with the home instead of Jacqueline.
It wouldn't seem so odd if she was a false identity for him.
Maybe Joe is a cross-dresser! (That's a joke!)
Anyway, there are just too many questions that still need to be answered before this thing can ever be left to fade out of existence.
As a side note - I believe I read that Valerie is in France now.

That's crossed my mind, too. Or that it could be another covert alias used by Jacqueline or Valerie Plame. These are just speculations at this point, of course. Hopefully someone can turn up some more records to explain this.
At the time I think France believed that 1441 would end up like virtually ALL UN Resolutions. In the trash.
