Readers of my entries here and at Free Republic know that over the months I've enjoyed skewering Julian when he has let his liberal slip show. But this morning, Julian sang a very different song.
The context was a report that Bill Clinton yesterday urged his fellow Democrats to speak out bluntly on controversial issues, from abortion to religion.
Phillips had this to say:
"You can speak up and be tough but the question is, do you have any different solutions? And I think that's the thing with the Democrats at this time. They have to come up with some alternatives and I don't see that they have actually come up with anything yet." [emphasis added]
Huh! Couldn't have said it better myself!
The Dems will be coming out with their Contract ON AMerica soon and Julian will sing its praises
"The Dems have their "solutions" and know they are unpalatable to the public."
...
ie., The (Hillary) solution, "We're going to have to take things(freedoms) away from you for the common (us) good."
Besides, Hillary wants to get back inside the White house, she forgot to five finger discount other priceless White House heirlooms during her last exit and Bill will have enough leisure time to be more choosey over which intern he "smokes".
So Julian, the obvious solution is the elimination of The Democratic Crime Syndicate as a political party in The United States of America.
Thanks for the heads-up. I admire York's compusure in the face of David Corn!
F&F in general suks. I had a non Fox watcher describe what he sees during the week. Two dumb guys and a dumb girl shooting their mouths off. That's actually pretty accurate. But I still like it because it's lightly scripted, even though it's too silly and fluffy.
And I feel sorry for fruity Julian and his speech impediment.
You made me laugh! Is she an airhead or does she just play one on TV? She and the fellow on the left of the screen jibber-jabber over each other and everyone else, making Julian look poised, intelligent and leader-like. How strange!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
He is still looking for government solutions to people problems (i.e. 1. waiting in line for food and water within 72 hours of a hurricane in Florida; 2. complaining about the price of gasoline. )
You truly are dreaming. He's yet to acknowledge GWB as "President Bush" since he took office. Just once I'd like him to drop the "Mr. Bush" label.
