"What right does not exist is for ideologs to make choices for everyone else."

It is the function of society to determine how we will all live together -- to set up the rules under which we exist. Society has decided not to protect your right to ingest recreational drugs.

"Take a national referendum and lets just see."

Americans oppose the legalization of recreational drugs in every poll I've seen.

"It is the function of society to determine how we will all live together"

How does me smoking a joint in my own home before I go to bed have anything to do with you or anyone else? It Doesn't now does it!

"Society has decided not to protect your right to ingest recreational drugs."

You mean Like alcohol? Caffine? Nicotine? Cmon now, surely you can do better than that!

"Americans oppose the legalization of recreational drugs in every poll I've seen."

Americans want to see alcohol outlawed? Cmon now!

I guess you didn't see the 'poll' in Denver eh? What you take as total legalization is actually people wanting to create, keep and use their own supply without losing everything they own and put in jail for decades.

Please explain to me how this situation harms you or any other person(s) in any way.

I grow two plants in my basement, I cure those two plants in my basement. I imbibe the flowers of those plants in my bsement over the course of several months. I never leave my house with it, noone ever has or gaines access to it but me, it is never sold to anyone. None ever sees it, knows its there or is even told about it.

You sir, please tell me how THAT damages society. Then tell me where society has the right to determine what I do in my home when what I am doing causes no harm to anyone or anything.

Justify to me why this example would see everything I own confiscated and me jailed for decades. Go for it.

"Too bad they couldn't be honest about it, but considering who they are I'm not surprised."
If they were honest about it, the initiative would have failed.
