It is the function of society to determine how we will all live together -- to set up the rules under which we exist. Society has decided not to protect your right to ingest recreational drugs.

"Take a national referendum and lets just see."

Americans oppose the legalization of recreational drugs in every poll I've seen.

When on the 2ND you are discussing the APPROVAL of the Denver people of this subject.(((((Denver residents Tuesday voted to legalize possession of small amounts of marijuana,))))

Nationwide polls, not just some city referendum that people had to be tricked into voting for.
