Third party candidates don't suck off the taxpayer teat to fund their election hopes.
Of course they don't.
Nor do second or first party candidates.
ALL politicians do however.

Please remember sinskpur that the GOP itself is a 3rd party.
But, I know it's easier to post ad hominem attacks and stereotypes.

Third party candidates don't suck off the taxpayer teat to fund their election hopes. Perot and Buchanan both got taxpayer money for their campaigns in '96 and 2000.
And they both were mighty glad to take it!

I'm not fed up with the 'R's quite yet.
I am fed up with too many jackasses masquarading as Republicans and subverting the will of the conservative 'R' base and most Americans, but scum can be found in any pond. However, the alternative RAT party, is all scum - no pond. Until the socialist RATs are completely eliminated, there is NO room for an alternative conservative party.

There's no reason to think that that trend won't continue, especially if Hillary Clinton is the Democrat nominee in 2008. Every non-liberal non-Democrat in America will drag themselves over broken glass to vote against her.Hillary could be easily reduced to irrelevance, but the Republicans play nice. Why?
The only viable guy that the Dems could possibly nominate is Lieberman, and he will NEVER get past the primary.
But a moonbat socialist like Hillary is useful to the GOP to keep conseratives feeding from their trough.

Please remember sinskpur that the GOP itself is a 3rd party.Yeah. From 160 years ago.
Name a 3rd party that has been a viable force since the Republicans replaced the Whigs.
There aren't any.

"If the GOP candidate is anything like GHWB in 92, or Dole, good luck."
Agreed, we need someone better. We need another Ronald Reagan type, someone people trust and who can withstand liberal character assassination tactics.

I agree and the nightmare next time will be Hillary Clinton. I thought the nightmare was over with the stepping down of Miers from appointment?

Name a 3rd party that has been a viable force since the Republicans replaced the Whigs. I would say that most conservatives within the GOP are a de facto 3rd party.
The Republican Party today is run by moderates, RINOs, and neo-cons.

No doubt-That's why I volunteered.
I love a good show. Got a feeling it could be a pay per view

We have one or two guys like that every four years, but we always end up with a centrist who advances more socialism. And we always vote for him because the alternative is complete waste of skin.
We're being used.

I pay very little attention to them.
