Agreed, we need someone better. We need another Ronald Reagan type, someone people trust and who can withstand liberal character assassination tactics.
We have one or two guys like that every four years, but we always end up with a centrist who advances more socialism. And we always vote for him because the alternative is complete waste of skin.

I don't trust Republican candidates because I don't trust the Republican Party. The party doesn't care at all about principles, except the principle of getting reelected - they will let anybody claim to be a Republican and claim to be conservative.
Example? How many here were in love with Tom DeLay, and how many hundreds of billions has he happily squandered (as recently as last month) on reelection pork and useless crap?
Why didn't the Republican Party shoot down some of the pork earlier this month, when given the opportunity to do so? What was the Senate vote to keep the pork in place - 85-to-15 as I recall?
I'm done with these idiots.
