UNION THUGS attack Schwarzenegger supporter at Villarogosa rally in Los Angeles - VIDEO!!!
mediadrool.com ^ | October 27, 2005 | Heather Peters, Jeffers Dodge, Genevieve Paters

Posted on 10/28/2005 6:28:52 AM PDT by RonDog

Here is aan e-mail that I just received:

Genvieve Peters (no relation), who I recruited for the LA bus tour team, is certifiably insane and brings new meaning to the phrase "earned media". Forget about the baloney delivery stunt, this one clearly takes the cake.

When David Pegos tried to stage a counter protest today at the Latino union rally with Nunez and Villaraigosa in Downtown LA I put him in touch with Genvieve. She showed up in her red Arnold t-shirt with her signs ALL ALONE. Instead of going home (which I would have told her to do if the lunatic had called me), she quietly made her way into the middle of the crowd and positioned herself in front of the podium.

When Villarogosa finished speaking, she spun around and waived her "YES on 74-77" signs for the cameras. The media converged on her. The union thugs converged on her.

As the media asked her why she was there, the thugs started hitting her over the head with their "no" signs, tearing up her signs and pouring water on her as she loudly proclaimed to the cameras that she was there because she used to be a teacher in an ESL class and she knows that the children of all these wonderful hardworking people deserve a better education and their unions are lying to them!!!

The media ate it up. She was interviewed by Channels 2 & 9 as well as by the Spanish media. The thugs kept complaining that she was stealing their news coverage. Luckily one very kind (and quite large) union member escorted her to her car - all the while flashing gang signs at his fellow union members warning them to back off. Thank God she's home safe and sound. I'm buying her dinner (right after I stop screaming at her for taking her life in her hands)!

Ping to watch video at post #1.

Good video, it shows the union thugs at their worst, in other words, their normal method of operations. She should press charges against everyone including the moonbat security guard.

I hope all those union thugs are on camera and get arrested and prosecuted.

I just got this video clip via email and had to post it. It shows the true nature of the liberal left and the violent tactics that unions use against anyone who disagrees with them.

And, from THAT blog report (craigdeluz.blogspot.com)...
...is a link to THIS blog report...
...now posted at cc4truth.com:
Unions Attack Free Speech - Literally

Public employee union activists showed the utter hypocrisy of their campaign against the special election initiatives on Thursday at a rally in LA’s Pershing Square.

While $115 million has been spent by public employee unions to oppose the reform initiatives and promote a message that the voices of their members will be silenced if Prop 75 passes, an angry mob of dues paying union members showed what little respect they have for free speech.

"A single Schwarzenegger supporter struggles to hold her ground in a rally against the governor’s special election initiatives. Opponents tried to hit her with their signs and some blocked news cameras as she argued her point. The crowd turns quickly, grabbing her signs and tearing them up.  Even a woman wearing an orange security vest rips up the “Vote Yes” signs.” (CBS 2 News, October 28, 2005)

Two Los Angeles television stations caught on tape a hyped up mob of union activists intimidating and roughing up a woman who had the courage to speak out in favor of the four reform initiatives.

Whipping the crowd into a frenzy was none other than Speaker Fabian Nunez, who was a featured speaker at the rally in Pershing Square.  At the very least, Nunez - a former union organizer himself - has a duty to issue a public apology to this woman on behalf the union bosses who control him.  That is, unless the Speaker believes that violence and thuggery are acceptable forms of public expression.

The Video you have to see (Click Here)

The funny thing is that most of the signs opposing 75 ask for us not to “silence their voice”.  Yet they sure try their best to silence ours.  At a rally I attended last week I was heckled by union members who shouted “shame on you” and “you bastard” as I left the Anaheim Marketplace.  Reminds me a lot of the liberal nut jobs I had to deal with during the Bush election.

In the video pay special attention to the “security guard” who strips the Arnold supporters signs away from her while another union supporter strikes her in the head.

I don’t know Genevieve Peters, but I hope some day to meet her.  What a strong and fearless person she is to put her self in harms way like that, to stand up for what she believes in.

While I have attended a number of rallies and events in support of the initiatives I was unable to make it to this one.  Some of us do have to work.  Then again, how is it that so many union members can skip out on work to attend these...hmmmmm.

"Remember the pictures of the Union Thugs doing the same thing to the 5 year old little girl with a pro Bush sign."

I do remember, it broke my heart.

I think about someone doing that to my neices or nephews (no kids yet...), and I want to punch someone, hard.

Like i said, I'm not a violent person by nature, but as a man of Irish descent, don't piss me off - and don't abuse women and children around me.

Update on Kerry Supporter Harrassing 3-Year Old Girl

Most people saw Matt's post below regarding the Kerry supporter driving the 3-year old girl to tears for holding a Bush-Cheney sign. Although the Left tried to discredit the authenticity, Michelle Malkin did better diligence than CBS to disprove the allegations of faking the incident.

Well it looks like this situation has reached as high as the White House, as President Bush reached out to comfort this little girl:

If the picture of little 3-year-old Sophia Parlock crying after some Kerry-Edwards supporters tore up her Bush-Cheney poster got to you, well, you weren't the only one. President Bush and even first pup Barney were dismayed too, we hear.

It happened at a West Virginia rally last week for Democratic running mate Sen. John Edwards, to which Phil Parlock brought his daughter. After seeing the picture of the tearful Sophia on her dad's shoulders, aides said the president was sending her a little note Friday along with a signed campaign poster and an autographed photo of the prez and his dog.

"Dear Sophia," Bush penned, "Thank you for supporting my campaign. I understand someone tore up your sign. So I am sending you a new sign and a signed picture. Please give my best to your family. Sincerely, George W. Bush."

And on the picture, he inked: "To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney."

Phil Parlock tells us it really wasn't necessary. "He already said 'Thank you' when he hugged her" at a previous Bush rally they attended, he says. "She bragged for days."

This isn't the first time the President has rallied to comfort a young supporter on the campaign trail.

Well, we're old friends, meaning we've known each other for a while. Nothing on age implied, other than the fact that we've known each other for a while and therefore we must be at least that old :-).

I miss the LA Chapter too. It was a great experience.

Hope you're still doing Great Things :-).

Thanks! It was a thread one night - right after Weldon gave his latest speech on the House floor.

Everybody who went to the thread was invited to change their tag line - as you see mine now!

We were hoping to send a message to those in the media who lurk here - we believe Congressman Weldon.

RonDog! That was awesome footage, mind if I post it on GOPatUCR.com? I remember Genevive from the Ann Coulter event, why is she out there doing this singlehandedly (not that she couldn't, but the college republicans want to have some fun as well).
