She is a conservative not a joyless prude. She is a Phil Crane type of a cut up and a conservative that you can trust. Who else would have such a crush on McCarthy and Helms as ideal men? Ann is just great. Ann is a conservative. Bush is a moderate.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've read about his whole sorry, stupid mess. I guess to the Miers defenders (and in YOUR case I'll finally use the term BUSH-BOTS) the fact that Ann Coulter is RIGHT is of no value. Miers' speech in 1993 that just got printed by the post is proof that she was a horrible pick, a Souter-in-waiting.

THEY WERE RIGHT. The Texas Lottery Commission head was not qualified, could not write clearly and logically, did not appear to be a reliable conservative, and in the end, looked like a person who will say what the audience to whom she's speaking is comfortable hearing.
As I write this I am hearing on the Lehr-uh News Hour that the pick may well be announced tomorrow, and that it will be to conservatives' liking.
