The unelected power-brokers of the far right have forced the withdrawal of President Bushs own Supreme Court nominee,I wanted Harriet to have hearings, especially because I felt she deserved a chance to show that the over-the-top, nasty personal comments about her were false.
But, since the "power-brokers" have proven they have so much power, I say "loosen the reins" a bit, and let's see what happens in this crazy horse race called politics.

Power to the people, my man. This was an historic bloodletting, and woe to the politician who doesn't think he's accountable to the people who voted for him.

Neas and the left wing just can't believe someone is actually going to do something they were elected for - liberals haven't done that for decades. No wonder he's bamboozled.

Yeah, Neas wishes he could be an unelected power broker as opposed to an unelectable loudmouth and fraud.

Where does the left get this cr*p? There's nothing in the Constitution or anywhere else which requires there be "a fair and independent balance" on the Court, nor that the justices "bring us together." They're there to interpret the Constitution, not play nice with the MSM. There's nothing in the constitution about what a nominee's resume must contain with respect to positions held to be nominated, either.

The unelected power-brokersOh, so now "we the people" are "unelected power-brokers." They finally get it. !!!!

Okay everybody - listen up.
Everytime you hear the left say "right-wing" (RW) or anything resembling that - just put the "kook left" (KL) in the same sentenance - and you will have PROJECTION!!
This is just another of the ways the left uses projection! They say the RW is controlling the repubs and the president, when it's actually a description of what the KL is doing to the democrats.
The difference is - the CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT is 10 times larger than the KL. The dems like to think the KL represents the majority of their party - but they are very mistaken. The KL only represents about 1% of their party.
Cindy is out there saying she will withhold all support for Hillary until Hillary changes her stand and becomes anti-war. Does anybody believe Hillary will do that ..?? I don't think she will - and either something will happen to Cindy (to remove her from the spotlight), or Hillary will find out Cindy's followers are such a small group she can do without their votes.
REMEMBER - RW really means KL! It should give everybody a good laugh!!

"Because Miers was their [PAW's} wet dream GOP nominee to the bench."Is there another explanation for the palpable disappointment of Reid, Neas, etc.?

That's where "with the advice and consent of the Senate" comes in... to prevent *cough* cronyism.

Hey, are you an "unelected power broker"? I guess I am. I think I like the title.

Maybe not disappointment, but joy. I don't believe for one second that Neas and the other Leftist saw Miers as a boon. They are playing divide and conquer the whole time. But the point is moot. She was doomed from the start because the Senators couldn't vote for her in good conscience without information protected under "executive privilege".

"Right-wingers are openly saying they elected Bush to put a battle-ready ultraconservative on the court to replace the moderate Sandra Day OConnor, and theyre demanding a new choice bipartisanship, moderation and mainstream Americans be damned. Too long for a tagline and too good not to be repeated
