Very good points both of you.

The GOP has no party discipline. One of the things that has enabled the Dems to become so powerful is that, even when they are in the minority, they adhere to party discipline, do what they are told and support their leaders. Objectively, this is a bad thing; but from a political point of view, it is the only thing that works. They must be really happy now, having watched us do their dirty work for them.

---The GOP has no party discipline.---

Yes, it's not just the RINO's, but those that would rather be "right" than strong. Here in Montana I witnessed both sides of the coin last election, elected Republicans supporting a Democrat over a Republican for local office and Republicans jumping ship for conservatively correct third party candidates. The result is the same, Democrats in office.

Has it really worked for the dems??????? I mean really, they went from having almost total control of this country to the minority party in 20 years.

Because nobody could speak out about any direction the party took without committing party political suicide. They have become the party of loons, losers and traitors, they have also lost all of their power.

Please, keep us sane and questioning the direction our party takes us!
