Or how little he comprehends conservatism... if he even tries.
Assuming the withdrawl is true, and GWB nominates someone on Conservative's list (and puts as much effort into that nomination as those of cronies), is this the first conservative victory?
Or how little he comprehends conservatism... if he even tries.
C'mon guys. Show Gary some respect.
Even though his support for Miers may have been clouded and based on a single issue (religion) and therefore wrong in principle - what he did as a Green Beret (see his tag line) in Vietnam deserves some respect. I 'argued' with him over Miers countless times, but sheesh, disagree fine, please don't insult him or his intelligence. "Dumb" & "Green Beret" don't go together.
Maybe I'm being too kind and deferential because of 'what he was'? But I do know what the SF did 'in country' and the fact that he's here says something in itself.
FYI, The US Army Special Forces had more Medals of Honor awarded (mostly posthumously) and suffered more casualties percentage wise than any other unit in the entire U.S. military during the Vietnam War.Okay, I'm done - continue arguing :-)
