Oh please! 3 days without power is a severe hardship?
These folks didn't have 3 days worth of food and water in their homes after a week of prep time?
I give up! Our Nation is now populated, nearly exclusively, by limp-wristed pansies that couldn't care for themselves if their lives depended on it.
Let Hillary win so the revolution can begin, already.

Three days without power ?
I just spoke to my uncle in Ft Lauderdale. He told me that they have been told to expect no power until November 8.

Three days worth of food and water? Here in blizzard country, we keep three WEEKS (at least) worth of food and water on hand.
Have you noticed that those who bitch most about the government are those who are most dependant on it?
I am so sick of whiners.

as they suffered a third day without electricity and scant basic suppliesBasic supplies? Good grief. What a bunch of whiners!

Yes, and they all expect a nannied state.
Disasters happen, and there is no way the government can
be prepared for the scope or magnitude of every flood, hurricane, tornado or earthquake.
It is sad the public expectation of being so pampered is
on the increase.
They have no comprehension of whats involved in disaster recovery, such as rebuilding power lines and distribution of
goods and services.
We are becoming a country of spoiled brats.

People who rely on government handouts will always be unhappy, and the MSM will seek them out like bloodhounds for their opinion. Most people are doing well down here. The grocery stores are open. What productive people need is gas. There is lots of it, but no power to pump it. Why they can't use generators I don't know. The government would do well to supply generators to the gas stations, but otherwise leave us alone.

Wow...back online at work only with some of the ceiling gone yet. THIS WAS A BAD storm this time. I don't have phone or water or electric at home. My neighbor lost porches, we lost trees...I thought this was supposed to be a cat 1 at the most!! It was a 3!
Yes...I can't believe people were waiting in line for free water and ice the first day after the storm. I am personally prepared for a long time ....too many people rely on the government to survive even one day! I have no pity for them.
