At the nexus of two high-profile investigations roiling the nation's capital is an unlikely - and largely anonymous - figure known for fiercely safeguarding her bosses.
Susan B. Ralston, 38, has worked as an assistant and side-by-side adviser to Karl Rove since 2001, helping manage his e-mail, meetings and phone calls from her perch near his office in the West Wing. That has made her an important witness in the C.I.A. leak investigation, as the special prosecutor has sought to determine whether Mr. Rove misled investigators about his contacts with reporters about Valerie Wilson, the undercover operative whose identity was made public in 2003.
Ms. Ralston is also entangled in another political scandal: the case of Jack Abramoff, the Republican lobbyist, who employed her in the same frontline capacity during a stretch of time that is now under criminal investigation.

exposing Wilson was what the administration should have been doing since the senate intel committee report tee-ed him up as a liar, and his wife as being the person who setup his little trip. Plame wasn't outed, she inserted herself into this story when she recommended her husband for the job.
Gee, I thought the Times was saying only a couple of days ago that Ms. Miller was entangled with Libby. Must be something about that word that they love. It's so . . . suggestive.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- In the wake of the announcement of a criminal probe by the Justice Department, White House officials said Thursday that a second, separate computer problem affecting the Office of the Vice President may have resulted in thousands of e-mail messages escaping the investigative reach of Congress, the Justice Department and the Office of the Independent Counsel.
Let me just state this for the record. The Democrat Party, the New York Times and the MSM are going to get a lot of innocent American men, women and children killed, just as they did in abetting the terrorists that caused 911. I wonder if the American people have any clue as to what is about to happen to them. I guess 911 and all the horrific events starting with the seizure of the USA embassy in Iran in 1979 have had no real impact on them. I guess with Iran calling for the total destruction of Israel and the Jews is just idle chatter. I think not!!! I can assure you folks that if the likes of the Democrat Party have their way, a lot of Americans will be sorry they have not heeded the clear and evident signs of mortal danger ahead for them and their beloved families caused by the Democrat "Traitor" Party enemy among us. 911 will look like a church picnic!!! There is far too much the NYT and MSM cannot seem to find, and/or report to the populace. They selectively pick what to report as long as it meets their "AGENDA" for what the political news should be - BRING DOWN BUSH!

Ralston is cited as being the highest ranking Filipino-American in the Bush White House. The Philippine News Online reported September 22, 2004, that "Ralston, who was promoted special assistant to the president last July, is also actively involved in courting the Asian American vote."
