That's the first Chronicles of Narnia advertisement that I've seen. My son is half-way through the series, but has misplaced The Silver Chair.
To: centexan
I think the only way the can score is either through small ball or via the solo homer.
To: Leapfrog
After God Bless America is sung, put up on the board: "Don't Mess With Texas"... as the roof starts to close. LOL... I like it!

Nov. 19 will be 33 years for us.
Still can't believe it.

I personally want to see a Yankee/Cards series ( even though there have been a number of them in the past, I have never seen one ). I watched the 1964 one on TV as a kid. Kenny Boyer grand slam!!
Podsednick (sp?) having a pretty good October.

Pods can fly. Wasn't sure if it was triple material, but as soon as he rounded first, I could see he was going to turn on the jets.
To: Charles Henrickson
Nice to see the Astros aren't the only ones that can strand runners.
To: mainepatsfan
Pods's triple was with two outs, so it wasn't surprising that he was stranded. But Lamb hit a lead-off double, and they couldn't get him over and in.

Barbara Bush keepin' score. George Herbert Walker Bush sayin' "read my lips, Astros gon' win this game."
Aren't they amazing? I just love those two! Barbara and (I think) their son Neil were there past midnight central time last night. Barbara looked great... alert and smiling the entire time. :o)

I know. There's was understandable whereas the Astros have been painfully bad.
To: Charles Henrickson
Crede playing great as usual.

It would hard to pick a Series MVP so far--it's been a true team effort--but Crede might be it, with his glove and his bat.

Backe better keep rolling because Garcia isn't going to allow much tonight.
