We're securing the archives and moving the relevant information to the stealth submarine even as we speak.

Turtle soups up! --- WHaaaa..?!?
Giant tortoises are seen in their natural environment at Santa Cruz Island, January 29, 2001. A volcanic eruption on the Galapagos Islands has sent scorching lava pouring seawards but giant tortoises which helped inspired the theory of evolution are safe, island authorities said on Sunday. Lava from the Sierra Negra volcano edges down the mountainside in the Galapagos Islands October 22, 2005. The Sierra Negra volcano on Isabela Island -- the largest of the Pacific Ocean archipelago which is part of Ecuador -- erupted on Saturday night. The lava could reach the sea in a week's time, but the island's unique fauna and human inhabitants have not been harmed. NO SALES NO ARCHIVES REUTERS/Galapagos National Park/Handout

Yes, you are first. But I might add, it really was caused by Karl Rove's Volcanomatic machine from Acme. But with typical bad luck he missed the super-sized turtles.

I keep thinking this is one of the islands used in Jurassic Park. I know a lot of the shots were done in Hawaii, but this island's name rings a bell.

I heard where a couple of geologists were going into some remote region of Pakistan (or somewhere over there) after reports from villagers that a volcano had formed after the earthquake. That area does not have any known vocanic activity and the geologists (and I) doubt it. It would be pretty cool (or hot I guess) if they did find one.

..it didn't threaten villagers on the island or the super-sized tortoises that gave the remote archipelago its name.Given the theory that these tortoises have survived 50 billion, gizillion years with prior eruptions, I'm surprised this concern would even be raised.
