Halloween night, and a daughter comes downstairs wearing her costume, ready to go trick or treating.
Mom: "Honey, you're wearing a witch's costume this year. I
thought you were going to be Hillary Clinton."
Daughter: "I am."

Would that be the same Target that doesn't allow the Salvation Army to solicit on their properties at Christmas?

Walmart? Last i knew you could get BB-guns and Shotguns there so I'd assume you could get the toy variety. If anything you could go with a Water gun.

You might just check with the PINK PISTOLS. I'm sure Targe' would approve....

According to the employee (and manager) I asked, it's "socially irresponsible" to expose kids to guns.On the contrary -- it can be a very healthy thing . . .

MEANWHILE, they have about eighty damn copies of "Grand Theft Auto." You ought to write a letter to the management and point that out.

Definitely go to Walmart - they have great replica cap guns and belt, cowboy hats, etc. - and of course its Walmart so their quite inexpensive. Great stuff got it for my son this year who is also going as a cowboy.

BTW - dont shop Target if you can - they support LaRaza, homo groups, etc.. and denied the Salvation Army to collect again this year. Target,Kraft foods and Walgreens is definitely on my boycot list.

Oh, and while you're at it, don't bother to try to find those cool little plastic 'cowboys & Indians' figures that everybody played with when I was a kid - gone the way of the dodo bird!

Seriously, though, I quit shopping at Target years ago when I saw their name on a list of major corporate donors to Planned Parenthood. Not surprised they won't sell toy guns, though, considering how they shafted the Salvation Army.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get cowboy accessories? Go to the Gay part of town. Plenty of cowboy costumes there.

Walmart may be a good choice and they also have stuffed, cloth 'horses' that the child 'wears' around their waist. It's supposed to look like they're riding. They're really cute!

Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan, from Vacaville, Calif., pulls back her rain poncho as she speaks to reporters in front of the White House, Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, in Washington. With the U.S. military death toll in Iraq poised to surpass 2,000, Sheehan, who camped for 26 days in front of Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, spoke about her planned protest vigils to be held in front of the White House.
