I wish her well, but AOL's high water mark as an ISP was reached some time ago. I doubt if it gets many new customers and likely has a hard time retaining those that it has. Most that stay with it are long time users who aren't that internet savy, and don't want the hassle of changing providers and sending new addresses to friends and relatives.

The funniest thing is having AOL call you for collections when you stop paying for their crappy service and they refuse to cancel your account. When my son was repairing computers (mostly just cleaning up spyware messes) he would thank God for AOL and it's users ability to load every piece of spyware known to mankind onto their machines.
