I think your piece is well-reasoned. I, too, am bothered by women who make fun of men. Although not every example you cite is evidence of prejudice on her part, it does smack of feminism. But what bothers me most about Laura is that she is the one who tells our President to "tone it down" when he comes out swinging hard against terrorists and that sort of thing. That has always made me dislike her.

As you know, the health of men is in pretty sad shape these days. Men die an average of five years before women...... But instead, you opted to promote your Women’s Health and Wellness Initiative.

It is not the job of the First Lady, or the President to be responsible for promoting health care initiatives for particular groups, nor is it right to blame them when they don't.

We are all grown ups now, I presume. If men can't figure out how to get their health in shape it's their own damn fault. Same for women.
