In other words, 49% think the Administration did nothing illegal, 39% think they did, and the rest are undecided.
And we get this headline.

Only one in ten pollsters actually interviewed an American. The other nine interviewed each other.

A survey/poll by CNN of CNN viewers is meaningless. CNN has been beating the guilty drums for weeks, naming "sources" and drawing wild conclusions. CNN has been telling us that Bush/Rove/Libby are guilty of a non-crime and now they have news to say that people believe them. This is classical "stuck on stupid".

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS! Tell the big lie again and again and even if no one gets indicted, the press has made ingrained 'their' story in the mindless masses.

and no one in the U S outside the Special Counsel's office has enough information to make a judgment. what foolishness!

The author of the law says it wasn't in violation.
But then CNN loves to engage in Zogbyism.

The Truth is not subject to a democratic vote. Either a crime was committed or not. Opinions don't change that.

What nonsense! No one's been charged with anything yet.

Being she was an analyst and not covert, how did any outing law EVER apply to her?
I mean, I know it is no fun to go by the facts, but at some time facts have to mean something in this circus of a situation.

CNN paints the picture, then polls to see if the viewers "get it".

Bull shit!
Most Americans do not anything about the story.
Nor do they care.

Id be surprised if more than 25% of Americans know who Valerie Plame is.
To: The Raven
Thirty-nine percent said some administration officials acted illegally in the matter Bush fault--no, it really is this time--for burying his head in the sand while letting the "process" pull the rug out from under him. 2 years and he hasn't told the public what a charlatan Wilson is or how his wife was NOT a covert agent, and how she broke CIA rules by arranging her husband's trip...etc, etc. Silence from Bush, and (God forbid) we will pay the price in 2006.

Count me among the 1 in ten.

This is what Mickey Kaus calls a "hamburger helper" poll--a meaningless, unscientific poll designed to strtch an editorial comment into a news story.
To: The Raven
This whole thing is becoming so ridiculous now, that on several FOX news shows today they had to bring in a "legal expert" to answer whether Cheney was in any legal jeopardy because he talked to Libby about Valerie Plame.
Most Americans upon hearing this snippet and the fact a legal expert wash brought in to analyze would think, "Hey maybe there is something going on."
Of course, Libby is Cheney's CHIEF OF STAFF. THEY ARE EXPECTED TO TALK TO EACHOTHER. No legal expert is needed to figure this out. More media hype.

So, CNN thinks they won the propaganda war on this issue? They think they have convinced most of the people? And they are pleased?
