An uber-insider source has just reported the following to TWN:
1. 1-5 indictments are being issued. The source feels that it will be towards the higher end.
2. The targets of indictment have already received their letters.
3. The indictments will be sealed indictments and "filed" tomorrow.
4. A press conference is being scheduled for Thursday.
The shoe is dropping.
More soon.

This entire debacle has been for lib media fodder. It has been simply for the pure ability to mention the Bush White House in a Grand Jury probe. They didn't go through all this simply to indict a no name. Rove will go down.

I heard from a breathless source close to the investigation that there will be no indictments and no announcement or press conference of any kind by Fitzgerald, period. Fitzgerald is simply going to let the grand jury's term expire and say nothing, EXACTLY the same way that he handles ALL grand jury investigations.

It is against the law to leak grand jury testimony or procedures to the press, including information that a sealed indictment has been issued (and the contents of that indictment). Well according to the NYT .. there are leaks

he best guess is that Mr. X, even though his name is not known and some people are just speculating on who he might be or she might be, is somebody who is actually outside the White HouseWILSON!!!!

Libby and Miller had a "thing" going Really? I read yesterday that she had a thing with a co-worker at the NY Times. Explains why her hubby left her sitting in jail while he rubbed shoulders with the rich and powerful on a cruise.

And Bush........(smile)

I think you are correct, that Mr. Wilson is Mr. X. That's assuming CBS reports this as described.

I do not know where that thread is - I was on it, reading some excerpts from it, it sounded like a friggin love letter to me in some segments. it had a weird feeling to it, it didn't read like a simple declarative legal document.

Mr. X would be Robert Novak's source. The one he said would be revealed when all this hoopla is over. Will it ever be over? Will we ever know the identity of Mr. X?
